 PAN-Aadhaar Linking





To link your PAN (Permanent Account Number) card with Aadhaar, you can follow the steps given below:


Visit the official website of the Income Tax Department of India at     www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in

Under the "Quick Links" section on the left-hand side of the page, click on the "Link Aadhaar" option.


Enter your PAN number, Aadhaar number, and name as per Aadhaar in the respective fields.


Click on the "Submit" button.


A pop-up message will appear on your screen indicating whether your PAN and Aadhaar have been linked successfully or not.





Alternatively, you can also link your PAN card with Aadhaar by sending an SMS to 567678 or 56161 in the following format: UIDPAN<SPACE><12-digit Aadhaar number><SPACE><10-digit PAN number>


Note: It is mandatory to link your PAN card with Aadhaar as per the government's directives. The last date for linking PAN card with Aadhaar has been extended to June 30, 2023.
